Decided to go back to the island this year, myself and my boyfriend. Stayed in this hotel whihc, my boyfriend had stayed in previously. The room was a double, with a balcony overlooking the front of the hotel. Ideal for us as we drove there and had a perfect view of the car below. We were half board. Food was fantastic, every component needed for a full english every morning, tea, coffee, fresh orange juice and fruit. Come dinner time there was a wide selection of food, with different food being provided each night. Special evenings consisted of an orietnal night and an italian night. Kids buffet was provided so you dont have to worry about childrens dislikes!
The pool was only a walk away, with entertainers for the children during the day, If you like a bit of a drink there is a bar situated by the pool overlooking es cana bay and beach. Spectacular views.
Es cana has lots of bars which are family orientated if you do not wish to remain at the hotel for the evenings entertainment there are other places within walking distance. Hotels entertainment of a night is ideal, finishes around 11 - 12 pm which is superb for those with families.The entertainers keep the children entertained with the club song "Sunshine for you sunshine for me" This was annoying at first but by the end of the week I was tapping my feet and doing the actions. hehe.
On the 10th July every year Es cana have a firework festival at 12 am - midnight. From hotel miami it is possible to view the tremendous display. I personally recommend talking a walk the beach and watching from there. Really adds to the desired effect.
Staff are friendly and always available to help. There is an internet area in the lobby where you can catch up with others and check emails.
I definitely reccommend this hotel, entertainment was good, food spectacular, children friendly, amazing views, quiet, centre of everything you need.
I must note that there was no sign of drunks who were disorderly. Family orientated hotel.
