The miramar was such a dissapointment, dirty, over priced and with rude obnoxious staff.
We checked in with surly reception staff, went to our room exhausted, and then spent half the night having to complain about the state of the room, and the incredible amounts of noise coming from the wedding reception immediately below us.
The duty manager was rude, and unhelpful, he offered to clean our bathroom, however it was ... ...shower and bath.
There was enamel chipped from the bath, and very basic toilet roll.
the noise from the party was overwhelming, with the cups on the amenity stand shaking (incedentally these were rinsed by the maid under the sink in our friends room rather than washed or cleaned. disgusting)
the fabric of the room was shabby, stained and torn, and the walls were battered.

we had no duvet, just a blanket under a dubiously clean bedspread.
For the price we paid we expected better quality, breakfast was poor, with very very cheap food, however the breakfast waiter was the only capable member of staff and was charming.
forget tranquil seaside breaks, this made fawlty towers look like excellent quality (the decor was probably from the same era too)
