Morning buffet breakfast is served with nice simple food which can be eaten on the beautiful terrace. The rooms are quite basic, but hold all the necessary amenities (eg shower, double bed etc. However, at night it can get quite noisy, especially with children staying in the hotel, and with the locals outside. The hotel is situated near to the santa ponsa's tourist and beach area, with all the amenities nearby. However, the hotel is located in what appears to be an alley road, so the smell of rubbish/bins can become quite bad when the whether is hot. I found santa ponsa itself to be full of tourists, and british run bars, eg irish pubs, and a lot of scottish people seemed to stay here. This is fine if you want a tourist popular area, although you'd be hard pushed to find any typical spanish places here, for example through our whole stay we only came across a handful of tapas bars and was unable to find any typical spanish entertainment. The Plaza is located near by (taxi drive away) and this holds some entertainment - dancing, singing etc. Overall the hotel was nice, friendly, and located very well, however, i would only recommend as a budget hotel.
