Selva di Val Gardena

Advantages: unforgettable landscape
Disadvantages: none

Selva di Val Gardena is a charming place, towards the end of Val Gardena. It's lovely both in Summer and in Winter, depending on what you're looking for. As for me, I love that place all year round. I've been going there on holiday for many years and, even if some things have changed in time, they're for the best in most cases. In Summer you can start from this place to go for a short, long or very long walk or you can idle around the place or go to Ortisei, at the beginning of the valley, for a little shopping. IN Winter the place is frantic with skiers and, on the second week-end of December, there's a World Cup downhill race, really woth seeing. People mostly speak German or Ladino, a kind of local dialect, and they can be kinder of you speak English, rather than Italian, since they represent a strange minority, who'd rather be ...

Hotel Daniela di Roma

Advantages: Nothing really shone through
Disadvantages: Awful beds, not great location, no added value

We spent the last weekend of February in Rome, arriving on Friday afternoon and leaving on Sunday night. Our hotel was booked on www.expedia.co.uk and I selected it based on recommendations from the website. This was our fist visit to Rome (simply fantastic) and we were lucky to have timed it for the last weekend of the month ? meaning that on the Sunday a number of attractions were free to enter, most notably Vatican City, including the Sistine Chapel and Saint Peter?s Basilica. The hotel is located just out of walking distance of the centre of the city and so public transport, taxis or a hired car is a necessity for anyone staying there. It is in walking distance from two different Underground stations, both on Line A ? Vittorio Emmanuel and Manzino. I?m sure there are bus routes nearby but we didn?t take the bus to and from ...

Acqua Di Gio

Advantages: Smells Great
Disadvantages: Can be expensive

Hi. I'm going to share with you my experiences with Armani's ACQUA DI GIO today. This fragrance came out way back in 1996 following the successes of Armani Mania (1981) and Armani Eau Pour Homme (1984). I have no hesitation in saying that Acqua Di Gio too is a success. Armani's Acqua Di Gio for Men is constantly being advertised everywhere, particularly in Debenhams and Men's magazines such as Men's Fitness and Men's Health. This was a big factor behind me buying this because Armani weren't going to spend millions advertising this fragrance if it was not good. Neither would Debenhams display posters of it everywhere either. I also bought my 50ml of Acqua Di Gio because of the positive reviews from word of mouth and from the Internet. I bought mine from Superdrug. Anyway... Armani's Acqua Di Gio for Men comes in a simple ...
