Our week in Albufeira was very good, the temp was around 85 to 90 during the day and around 70 at night. Walking home on a night was very relaxing and hassel free. You will occasionally see beggers asking for money but just walk on by, unless you want to give them some money.
Ok we paid £500 for 3 of us for a week at Quinta, i was quite satisfied with that, but if i had paid 8 or £900 like some others i would proberly wished i had gone to a hotel or higher rating accomodation.
QuintaDa bellavista is cheap and chearful, quite comfortable but lacks plenty of hot water and no air conditioning. Ive been to better butive stayed at places also that have been on par with this place. Our group are all adults so we only used the apartments as a place to rest and wash etc.

Accessible and Clean, on a Budget
My girlfriend and I booked through hotwire.com and had a lovely experience. We stayed for 4 days and had an extremely pleasant experience. The website had us booked for a smoking room but we wanted a non-smoking and the manager made sure we were accomodated as soon as we requested a change. He had the staff clean the room to ready it for us even though I never would have guessed it was dirty in the first place. One of the CLEANEST hotels I have ever stayed in.
The manager and other staff gave us advice on anything we wanted (restaurants, attractions, even beaches) without ever seeming annoyed. The hotel is extremely close to every thing in Naples and is a short drive from the airport in Ft. Myers. In October 2006 I went on an all-inclusive holiday for one week to Porto Cristo on the east coast of Majorca (Mallorca). I stayed in a hotel called the Monte Verde. It cost me £169 and I will now share my experiences of this hotel with you.
The Monte Verde Hotel was built in 1969 and was fully refurbished during the winter of 2000. The Monte Verde has a total of 140 rooms that are built over 7 floors.
When I pulled up to The Monte Verde I was not very impressed with the look of the hotel, it looked like a block of flats and was similar to some of the housing around Porto Cristo, which looked a bit basic and old fashioned. However The Monte Verde is only a 2 star hotel so I was not expecting too much.
