We stayed at the Color Hotel in Bardolino, Lake Garda for our Honeymoon in September, the hotel isn't cheap to say the least none of the hotels around the lake are.
For such a special occasion we went for a suite (classed as an armonia suite on their own web site), booked through Thomson. We flew into Verona airport and after a 30 minutes transfer we were dropped off at the Bardolino bus terminal which is right next door to the hotel.
Check in was really smooth, a quick photocopy of the passports, a swipe of card so that things can be charged to the room and that was it. One of the receptionists then took us up to room which was on the second floor overlooking the front of the hotel which includes a lovely fountain.

Let me first explain what type of holiday my family and I like, then I will explain the accommodation and lastly I will tell you of our experience of the Villa Olivo in Bardolino Italy (Lake Garda)

The Villa Olivo consists of two types of accommodation: self-catering and a hotel which offers bed and breakfast. Those in the apartments could avail of the breakfast at a cost of 8 euros per person. (But after seeing what was being bought in the local Lidl for breakfast ...
I recently went on a cultural girlie trip with a friend to Paris. I was left to do all the booking. I was looking for a reasonable hotel, near a metro stop, which included breakfast. I came across the Hotel International on various travel sites and it seemed fairly highly rated so I booked us in for three nights.
LOCATION:
The hotel is located 6 Rue Auguste Barbier in the 11th Arrondissement. The nearest Metro stop is Garcourt which was a two minute walk away and it was a five minute walk to Republique which gives good links to other lines. It's not really central enough to avoid the Metro and walk to the attractions but it was located so close to a stop that it seemed ideal.
PRICE:
Prices vary depending on size of room and season. There are singles, doubles and triples available. We paid Euro254 for the whole time ...
