We stayed here for 3 nights on out way back from Australia. This is a great hotel for the price it was listed as a 3 star but in my opinion should be higher! Very clean, huge comfortable beds, large spacious marble bathroom with both walk in shower and bathtub, complimentary bathrobe and slippers for personal use during stay, and best of all an excellent view of the Singapore river.
The room had a computer, electric curtains, knobs and buttons on the bedside cabinet for various lighting effects that kept my husband amused for ages. There is an adjoining shopping complex below the hotel which is another plus point, as it has a Starbucks, supermarket, bookshop and even a beauty parlour. We had dinner in the hotel in the Restaurant next to the Lobby and found this to be both delicious and excellent value for money, the Seafood Laksa being particularly good.
Location is excellent right on Clarke Quay, a leisurely 10-minute walk to the Clarke Quay MRT station, a bus stop just right opposite, and abundant taxis at the hotel doorstep. It is also within walking distance to City Hall, Chinatown, and Orchard Road (if you can stand the humidity!) For local flavour and people watching try the Satay Club which is right next door with a Tiger beer!
All in all, perfect location with very comfortable and clean rooms -large pool area, a great hotel choice.
