We stayed at this hotel in June 2005. Me and my boyfriend went for 2 weeks. Its located in Playa de las americas. When we first arrived i was amazed how lovely it looked from the outside, all glass front. It Was the nicest looking hotel out of all of the ones we had dropped people off from the coach. I was actually thinking oh my god i hope ours is nicer than theirs, but i knew it was as we'd payed a bit extra to get quality.
This hotel is a 4/5* and we went half board. We got breakfast in the morning, which was buffet style. There were a wide selection of cereal, bread, cooked breakfast. All really good. Then we had an evening meal, which was also buffet style. This changed everyday. You got steaks, fish, chicken, salad, pasta, and lots of other things. Lots of choiced of dessert also.
Oh i forgot too, that they had a hairdressers and a gym aswell. Didnt use them tho. lol
The room was lovely and clean, had our own, shower, bath, hairdryer, balcony, double bed. It was quite spacious. The rooms got cleaned everyday, and towels where changed everyday too.
The staff were friendly on arrival. We checked in straight away, got all the information about the hotel, and also got a safe in our room. I think we had to pay 5 euros, or something like that, im terrible with foreign currency...but we got it back when we departed. When we got to the room we had a phone call to say they hoped we liked the room and wished us a great holiday. Forgot about that, how nice! The staff were friendly all the time, and said hello whenever we saw them.
The pool was lovely and clean and big. They had another 2 small pools on top of the hotel too. One was for if you didnt want the rush of the big pool, and the other one was on the otherside..which was for the more daring of us, the nudists. I have to say i didnt go over there. ha ha
The hotel was close to all amenities, just a short walk away. Close to two beaches from either way of the hotel.
They had different entertainment on everynight, such as dancers, singers, but we tended to go out to the pubs. We actually kept going to this cocktail bar where they had an entertainer called Danny who was on everynight singing...and had karoke. We got to know the waiters and the people who went in there which was nice.
While we was there it was my 23rd birthday and we nipped out in the morning, when we got back i had champagne and fruit left for me on the side with a note wishing me happy birthday. I have to say that went down a treat.
The cost for 2 of us came to about £1300 i think, boyfriend payed, lol Its cheap aswell to eat out and we did that too on some nights. Lovely chinese not far from the hotel.
Would i go back again, definately. I dont think i could stay anywhere else in tenerife after staying in a high standard hotel. It was lovely. We really enjoyed our stay here.
