The Hotel is near the center and the guests may see the most interesting part of the city afoot. This is a big advantage because in Sofia there are problems with the parking place.
The hotel is really near the Sofia railway station and near the main bus station.
The breakfast is good but the choice of the food is not big enough. Some of our colleagues don't like the specific bulgarian food and breakfast and don't have any choice.
The rooms are comfortable and clean. There is a TV with different channels.
There is a Casino - if you like such a games. A lot of people come from the neighbour countries espcecially for the Casino.

The hotel was gorgeous, only a short ride from the airport, and the staff in the hotel could not do enough to help you. The rooms were lovely, a great size, lovely views. The facillities were great. The food in the hotel was lovely, there was plenty of choice of local cuisine and safer foods for those less adventurous. The entertainment was a mix of classic bulgarian folk music, and magicians, caberet and dancing. Sofia is a beautiful destination, and bulgarian beaches are second to none, but there are no theme parks or tourist attractions, and children may become bored, but for a week of chilling out and relaxing it was a brilliant destination and hotel. i thoroughly recomend it. ...

The Sofiahotel is in a good position just off the road so you are not disturbed by traffic noise. It is only a 3 minute stroll to the sand and shingle beach which is not crowded. Considering it was only a Continental breakfast it was much better than we expected with a different dish each day. The swimming pool and surrounding area was small but peaceful. Free Sunbeds available. There was great poolside bar open during the day and in the evenings and this was extremely well run and was the focal points for the guests. The rooms were basic nut what you would expect for Greece. However we had virtually no outlook overlooking another room in the next block. The bathroom suffered from severe Greek plumbing problems and floor never dried. Air Conditioning was available but very expensive and we prefer to go somewhere where it is included in ...
