Hotel Palmas Del Sol, Asuncion

Advantages: Friendly, bizarre
Disadvantages:

.... Taxi services were quite good too, but be careful they don't rip you off, we did experience threatening behaviour a couple of times in cabs we flagged down. In Asuncion itself don't miss visiting the government buildings and the palace - you can't miss them they are the wealthiest looking buildings in the city! Also go to Mercado 4 the market - very smelly, but amazing, very south american. Another interesting visit is to the Botanical gardens which are just like a big park, but inside is the Natural History museum which is a must if you aren't sqeamish! The museum consists of 4 rooms of stuffed animals and jars of pickled animals and animal parts uugggh. Beware of the toilets in the Botanical gardens as they really pong! Advantages: Good food, brilliant entertainment, very close to all amenities.
Disadvantages: Not for people who enjoy the quieter holidays.

...Sol Trinidad is in the heart of Magaluf in majorca. Like most Sol hotels in caters for the whole family. I personally found the entertainment fantastic, and the hotel had such an enjoyable atmosphere all round. The rooms in which me and my family stayed in were spacious and lovely. The staff were very helpful and polite, and you were never stuck for something to do, whatever the weather might have been. The food was always nice, with a wide selection. There were different activities put on for the whole of the family every day, rifle shooting, archery, pool games, and other contests which you could really get into and enjoy. As an added bonus, the hotel is situated right in the town and a very short walk from the beach, everything you wanted for a lively family holiday. ...i think that this is a great place to go on holiday to right in the center of town (well a 3min walk) great pubs friendly helpful people what more could you want? i met this realy nice guy in the middle of my 2week family adventure holiday and for his last four days we went everywhere 2ghtr. the beaches are realy nice the weather is sunny (99% of the time lol) there is a great entatainer for kids and then adult entertanment later on. there is always something todo such as water sports,shows,local tapas bars and many more.at times it can be a little bit boring for kids but there is a games room to prolong there entainment. when there is not anything going on around the hotel you could always go to the local spanish market. the drinks are very cheap but not in the local nightclub bells (bells doesnt get busy untill 5 when cheers shut) my...
