Advantages: Loads of things to do for people of all ages. Disadvantages: quite a lot of walking.
...I have been to many different holiday resorts around Spain and this is one of my personal favourites. If you go to Estartit there is not a lot to do within the town but if you stay in the resort of Castell Montgri you will have all the entertainment you need. Castell Montgri is a caravan site, you will all be thinking I'm not going to Spain to stay in a caravan but they are extremely luxurious caravans. The site has an open air cinema, live music, 3 swimming pools (one is absolutely huge), loads of bars, including the wine bar and their very own night club. Dont have any ideas about staying in a hotel and making use of the caravan site beacuse they have very tight security and passes must be shown to enter the site. Just outside the site their is a few local bars and a large crazy golf area. This holiday is in no way reccomended...

Advantages: Wonderful beach, small town which hasn't been overdeveloped and still retains it's fishing village charm Disadvantages: Only one road into resort which gets extremely busy during high season, town centre can be noisy late at night in high season

Nightlife is centred mainly around a small square in the centre of town. This can get rowdy, as it's where teenagers tend to congregate in the evenings, but the benefit is that it is limited to one small area. There is a club in this square, and a couple of others elsewhere in town, but these tend not to present too many problems. The rest of the square is made up of Spanish British-style pubs. L'Estartit also has two ice cream parlours offering extraordinary varieties and sizes of ice...
