At the hotel we had a renovated room, whilst it was light, modern and reasonably clean on arrival, it did not contain a wardrobe, shelves or any drawer space at all. The room was not serviced at any time during our 5 night stay (no fresh towels, bed linen or cleaning. I even had to contact reception for toilet paper).

The majority of the staff in the hotel appear to have graduated from the KGB charm school. (Perhaps they are tired of complaints).
At the present time there is not adequate space in the dining room, which is a converted sitting area by the staircase of the 4th floor that can seat about 40 people. Not much use with up to 5 coach parties staying plus other guests in over 200 bedrooms.
As for this hotel being of a 3 star standard it is very overpriced at the moment as it only ranks a bit above a hostel.
This hotel may be acceptable in the future for an overnight bed and breakfast, but as for 2006 and longer stays give it a miss.
