There are several other sites such as the Pantheon and Spanish Steps which also have to be visited on any sightseeing trip to Rome.

The Hotel Valle is an excellent little hotel and was superb for what we wanted. It was central and near to good transport links for anything slightly further afield. The room was clean and the breakfast kept us goin to lunch. I would highly recomend it.

looked at the map and said we had picked a really good location as we were quite close to Vatican City. It was only when we were there on our second day in Rome, having got to grips with the map and finding our way around, that we realised we were actually able to walk to many of the main sights. We were coming out of the Vatican and checking the map to see which way to the Sistine Chapel when I spotted a road name on the map which looked very familiar, and realised that we were a 15 minute walk away from the hotel. Hotel Cicerone, we discovered, is within walking distance of the Vatican, Piazza del Popolo, the Spanish Steps, Castel Sant'Angelo and San Pietro. Even Trevi Fountain and Pantheon could be reached by foot, it was only the Colloseum and Roman Forum that really warranted a journey on the metro and even that took minutes to reach ...

This is always my favourite place to start !!!! Well this hotel is in my opinion an average cost for a 3* hotel inRome at about £105 per room per night including breakfast. I know you can definately get cheaper priced hotels but I was happy with this cost for what you get (all will be revealed).

I have to say that the Hotel Impero is in a super location, in a lovely leafy area. I would best descibe the location as right in the centre of the historical art city of Rome, overlooking the Roman Opera ...
