The Hotel Pennsylvannia is the best hotel I have stayed in in central Manhattan. It is perfectly situated for easy access to all of New Yorks best sights. For the single traveller it may be expensive as I found on my first visit but for two it is great. I reccomend booking in advance as rooms are very expensive taken on arrival. Times Square, Maddison Square Gardens, Empire State Building, Central Park and Fifth Avenue are all within easy walking distance. The Statue of Liberty is only a short train ride from the hotel - Look for route 1 at any underground access point. The Hotel has a very good selection of places to eat at resonable prices and has clean spacious well equipped rooms and friendly staff available to assist you at any time. Well worth the trip a very enjoyable Hotel.
