...Wimborne
Wimborne is a small town in the depths of Dorset, it has the river stour running through the centre of the town. There are many places to visit in the town including the minster, The old lepper hospital, model village and many other interesting places.
There are lots of shops in and around the main square and for lunch there are lots of pubs and restaurants (I can highly recommend Piccolomondos).
From Friday to Sunday Wimborne market is in full swing, Friday is mainly a farmers market, Saturday is general market wares and Sunday is market wares, antiques and car boot sale.
Other historical places nearby include, badbury rings, Kingston Lacy House, Cowgrove nd canford magna.
A very nice town to visit, very friendly people, plenty of parking within walking distance of the main town square.
Suitable for all ages....

...they usually refuse to serve a coffee to people who aren’t clients of the hotel, even is they are signaled as ‘bar and restaurant’.
So, as you can imagine, not really a nice place to spend vacations. Better the resorts that lie at the borders of the town (Montesilvano and Francavilla), more similar to any seaside resort you can find along the Adriatic coast, from Veneto to Puglia.
In any case, last year I had little possibilities to visit the town itself, because my colleagues wanted to spend their spare time with me, and I was invited quite any evening in typical reastaurants.
PESCARA
Pescara is quite a small town if compared with Milan or Rome, but it is small aslo if compared with a medium size town like Ancona. Pescara has s long and narrow shape, and the majority of the town is concentrated along the seaside, even if there are houses...
