The Victoria Park Plaza in London is an amazing hotel that has very comfortable, quality rooms and staff who are friendly and professional. The best thing about The Victoria Park Plaza is that it is in a prime position just two minutes from Victoria Station and an easy walk to some of London's main attractions. I found it perfect for shopping and buying souvenirs. There were also quite a number of restaurants close by and my mum who cannot walk far didn't complain once. Although we ate at the hotel we also sampled London's China Town.
It is a four star hotel and lives up to the standard. It is situated close to Buckingham Palace, Harrods, Westminster Abbey and Houses of Parliament. The hotel does not allow smoking anywhere near the building which my mum and I really appreciated because we are both none smokers. The smoking ban made ...

·Hotel La Caleta Tryp: Another good hotel, located in the new part of the city, in front of one the best beaches you?ll find in Cádiz, ?La Victoria?. I?m not sure about the prices, but you can ask for information at www.tryplacaleta.solmelia.com. This hotel offers lots of services to their guests, like good restaurant, garage, 24 hours services, bedroom telephones, terraces, and more.
·HotelPlayaVictoria: From 144 ? for the double bedroom, to 402 ? for the suite, this four stars hotel offers a great service for a bit too expensive price, but again, is worth it. It?s located in the new part of the city, in front of the beach ?La Victoria? (is, in fact, beside the last hotel I talked about). A very nice hotel, and very big, in which some special conferences and some other events take usually place (like the music collectors fair). This ...

Advantages: Close to Centraal Station, good deals online Disadvantages: Thin walls, expensive extras
Having read several bad reviews of the VictoriaHotel, Amsterdam, I thought I'd better add my 2 pence worth.
I recently spent two nights here after finding a bargain last minute deal on the internet.
PROS
We booked a triple room, which was two twin beds and a third camp bed (added to the room after we arrived). The beds were comfy, and the room and ensuite were both spotless.
The staff were exceptionally helpful and polite - one even recommended a restaurant which served vegetarian food.
The swimming pool is free for guests to use, although we didn't.
Despite being directly opposite the station, the rooms were lovely and quiet at night.
Room service is excellent, and the food is delicious!!
CONS
The walls were a bit thin - you could hear voices and televisions late at night but this was only a problem on the first night ...
