Hotel Plaza de Venezuela, Caracas

Advantages: Lack of tourists, amazing scenery and wildlife, friendly people, and good transport.
Disadvantages: You have to be prepared to organise everything yourself, in Spanish! Not for people looking for glitz, glamour or an easy life.

...than half an hour, the fare is fixed, and the fares are displayed inside the bus. We spent a couple of days wandering a little around Caracas, in which we visited the small colonial centre and Plaza Bolívar, and explored the shopping district where our hotel was located. The wide, shop-lined streets were crammed with stall upon stall selling anything and everything, and we gawped at the kamikaze way stall-holders obtain electricity by lifting the nearest manhole cover and clipping a crocodile clip to the mains cable(?!) We were also blown away by the amazing hamburgers! There are a myriad of tiny street stalls producing hamburgesas and perros calientes (hot dogs), and they are organised with systematic precision. Ok, well I guess the best place to start is the location ........... ************LOCATION*********** This hotel is based in the Sants neighborhood of Barcelona. This area marks the city's southern boundary and has excellent public transport to the centre. Centuries ago this quarter was a village separate from Barcelona. What I really noticed was the narrow streets and the small houses. In this area is the Sants Station, which is in front of the Plaça dels Països Catalans. ...The Plaza de Armas was the Principal Seat of Lima when it was founded at 1535 by the Spanish Francisco Pizarro because it is the Centre of the Power of the Nation, bacause near the Rimac River has the Goverment with a middle of XX Century construction with an English and French Arquitecture Styles of Constructions that I don't know, because I'm not an arquitecture. In the other side, at the left side of the Goverment has the Lima's Catholic Cathedral where many President listen mass like National's Day Mass and "Te Deum" (A Thanksgiving song in latin language) at July 28th for example. In the opposite size was the Lima's major place or municipality and in the oppsite side of the Goverment Palace had La casa del oidor that was like a Justice place in the Spanish Domination.
