This hotel has got to be one of the best kept secrets when it comes to staying in Vienna. The city is so compact that it is easy to explore on foot and the family run Hotel Post is one of the most economic places to stay in the central Ring area of Vienna. You are less than 10 minutes walk from the Stefansdom, Kaerntnerstrasse and the Graben and there's a subway (U-Bahn) station - Schwedenplatz about 3 minutes from the hotel, as well as stops for numerous different tram-lines. So everything is within easy reach for tourists wanting to fit in as much as possible during their visit.
The Hotel Post is an older style of hotel and perhaps not as luxurious as some of the more modern hotels in the city, however, rooms are spotlessly clean, large, with usual features and more than good value for the price. Continental style buffet breakfast is excellent (try getting coffee this good in a British hotel!) and I've "stocked up" there for a day's sight-seeing on more than one occasion. Reception staff are exceedingly helpful and happy to recommend what's on, where to eat etc. Definitely a good bet for a stay in one of Europe's most beautiful and historic cities.
A sound recommendation but more detail would help provide a fuller picture of what this place is really like. Maybe you can look at some reviews others have done of hotels and see what makes a top review - I am sure you can transfer this into one and if you do revise do tell me and I will re-rate.

Good review, it did sell the Hotel as a possible, but just felt it could do with a little more to clinch the deal. Regards Steve.
