Advantages: We actually felt like royalty
Disadvantages: Absolutly none.

...that there are tropical forests which are small enough to explore within a few days. Maspalomas is defiantly a quiet family retreat, however its great to just get away from it all. More things to do will be explained later in the review. O<o>O HOTEL O<o>O As I mentioned earlier within in review, we stayed at the Hotel Maspalomas/tabaiba Princess 4*, which was absolutely spectacular from the outset. When we arrived we were greeted by the hotels lobby area alone, which is absolutely amazing, full marble flooring with glass exterior, I mean it was beautiful, and for the price it felt even better. Having been greeted by the excellent first appearance of the lobby we walked over towards the reception desk located in the centre of the giant lobby and we were greeted again by a lovely woman who was smiling and courteous at al times. Advantages: Evening entertainment, sauna, steam room
Disadvantages: Cleaners are thieves, repetitive food

...Just come back from Gran Canaria 2 days ago, travelled with my parents and stayed at the Maspalomas Princess, stayed for 2 weeks. My parents stayed here for 10 days 4 years ago and thought it was fantastic so decided to go back again...oh how its changed.... From the outside the hotel is pretty jaw dropping, it looks huge and quite posh, their are 2 hotels next to each other Maspalomas Princess and tabaiba princess, both hotels are identicle apart from the Tabaiba is occupied by mainly germans and the Maspalomas by english. The rooms are pretty basic, bed and wardrobes/cupboards and a small tv with very few english channels, you have to pay extra for the safe 10 euros and fridge is 13 euros per week. Bathroom is good size with bath and shower. There are several swimming pools outside some heated, and lots of bars to buy food... Read review

Advantages: beautiful, lovely weather, port aventura, aquaopolis, day trips to barcelona, cheap, safe area, bonavista market, close to airport
Disadvantages: rush for sunbeds in the morning!

...is part of port aventura, which was enjoyable but involved a great deal of queing and sunburn! There were plenty more activities offered by both the hotel and the area, such as swimming with sea lions and a variety of sports. HOTEL: The Princess Maritim hotel is the best hotel i have ever stayed in, although only 3 stars it feels like at least four. The hotel is immaculately clean and tastefully decorated, several computers with internet access are in reception which are cheap to use and one includes a webcam. The swimming pool and hotels facilities were ideal for all the family. The only slight disadvantage is that there was a mad rush for sunbeds by the pool in the morning but being a minutes walk away from the beach this was not too much of a problem.
