Stayed at Principal 5 days in March/2004 - in a standar big room in the not renewed section.

Second floor with a nice balcony to the street.
We think this hotel gives value for money - and is above average in its class.
It has a friendly, professional staff in every function important to guests: reception, breakfast and cleaning.

English breakfast cost 6€ per person per night.

We appreciated very much living close to the Gothic Quarter - and Rambla, subway and bus just 5 minutes from the Hotel.

The area is safe as a normal central turistic city in Europe.

I found everyone at hotel to be pleasant and accommodating. I would highly recommend your hotel to others traveling to Barcelona.
