Our week in Albufeira was very good, the temp was around 85 to 90 during the day and around 70 at night. Walking home on a night was very relaxing and hassel free. You will occasionally see beggers asking for money but just walk on by, unless you want to give them some money.
Ok we paid £500 for 3 of us for a week at Quinta, i was quite satisfied with that, but if i had paid 8 or £900 like some others i would proberly wished i had gone to a hotel or higher rating accomodation.
QuintaDa bellavista is cheap and chearful, quite comfortable but lacks plenty of hot water and no air conditioning. Ive been to better butive stayed at places also that have been on par with this place. Our group are all adults so we only used the apartments as a place to rest and wash etc.

HotelVilla Patrizi is located by Porta Pia in the immediate vicinities of the English Embassy. It is just out of the main hussle and bussle of the city of Rome, which was nice. It is 5 minutes walk from the nearest tube station Policlinico. To go to many sites you need to change at Termani (the main tube station) but this is easy and simple to do. The tubes are quick and reliable. It takes between 10-20 minutes to get to most sites. Although we didn't use them there are also tube and bus links to the city. The hotel is 35km in distance and takes approx. 40 minutes in a taxi to Fiumicino (Leonardo Da Vinci) Airport and this costs about 50 euros. It is also about 23km in distance from Ciampino Airport. The 4-star HotelDa Vinci lies just on the other side of the River Arno from the town centre of Empoli. It's an easy walk from the hotel to all that the town has to offer, unfortunately that's not really an awful lot. On the plus side, it's an easy hotel to find - exit the superstrada 67 (or FI-PI-LI, Firenze-Pisa-Livorno) at either the Empoli east or west junction, follow the by-pass to the bridge, and turn right (or left) for Vinci.
In case those instructions are too hard to follow, it's signposted all the way from the SS67 exit.
HotelDa Vinci is ideally situated for visiting some of the major attractions of Tuscany, being a 20-minute drive from Florence, 5 minutes further from Pisa, and around an hour from Sienna. Empoli has rail links with both Florence and Pisa.
