...Rabat. I regret I did not have more time to spend in Rabat. The city is the capital of Morocco, and offers the visitor an inside into the probably most westernised part of the country. There are also quite a few things to do, from a mere tourist point of view. We only visited the Royal Palace, which is where the King actually lives, we were told. We also visited one of the local supermarkets to get some provisions for the next days, since we were bound to the mountains. There is a local brand of pre-cooked couscous we found very good value for its money, and not too far from the real thing! I also remember some local biscuits with dates, which proved quite popular while in the mountains as energizers!...

This is where we were first "attacked" by children. I was 5 months pregnant (so this was 5 years ago) and although my then partner was finding this very normal (having lived in Morocco for the past 7 months), I was finding it extremely annoying and try as I may, in Arabic, French, Spanish and English, they would not leave us alone. We ended up taking one as a guide to find a hotel, and after having tried 4, we settled on the fifth. For a clean double room with a separate (sort of clean) bathroom, we paid £6. The hotel was a minute away from a restaurant called "Aladdin", where we had a delicious breakfast consisting of mind-blowing Arabic coffee (or is it Turkish now?) and home made "petits-fours" that were so nice, I had to ask the waiter to get me the recipe, but he wouldn't! Huh!
There is a little market in Chefchaouen, but nothing...

Advantages: Cheap, easy to get around, hassle free. Disadvantages: The time share people, although we were only hounded twice.
...I booked a holiday for my husband, my mum and myself at the San Anton hotel in St Paul's Bay. The San Anton is a nice, basic hotel offering self catering or all inclusive. It's ideal for families as there is organised entertainment for both children and adults throughout the day. This was ideal for us as my mum can't walk very well and is often too tired to venture out of the hotel. There was a 5 minute walk to the nearest bus stop from the hotel so it wasn't difficult to find our way round the island on the local buses. Every thing I'd read about the local buses prior to arriving in Malta suggested they were falling to bits and were incredibly uncomfortable, however, I didn't find them any worse than the average bus at home in Glasgow, and at 80 pence, approximately, for the longest journey they offer much better value.

My impressions of this game when I saw it advertised on the internet was that it looked like a completely different type of game that I'm used to seeing for the DS.
