In brief, this was a lovely hotel to stay at- in the heart of Vienna and close to all public transport links. The hotel was very clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Excellent value for money.
I stayed here in June 2006.
Rooms: I had a single room which came with a double bed, TV, wardrobe, shower, safe, minibar, fridge and table. The room was spacious, had air con and was very clean. I had a fantastic view of the park outside and the only gothic cathedral in Vienna which was right next door. the maid came in every day and the room was cleaned to a high standard. The bed was comfortable and although there was no iron, when requeste it was brought straight up to my room with an ironing board.
Facilities: There as no PC with internet connection however there was a wreless internet connection in the lobby for use with your own laptop. There were two restuarants and a bar.
Restuarant:The food was amazing however there was a limited menu. One night we had a bbq specially set by the hotel and there was a lot of choice here and the food was delicious.
Location: All public transport was withing three minutes walking distance. The hotel was next to the only gothic inspired cathedral in Vienna and the view was amazing. The main high street in Vienna was withing a 10 minute walking distance but there were supermarkets, chemists and newsagents within a three minute walk.

We loved Vienna. Many of the buildings looked like that. We stayed opposite the Opera House

Do you write your reviews on a word program like...say "Word" lol - if not I'd reccomend you do so as there were a few typos here which would have beffenfitted from a spell check - if you already do make sure you do check for spellings. Only a small issue but I got confused at one point because of them. Apart from that a helpful review - Rach =)
