Large, elegantly paneled, and accented with a corner bar, this is one of the top restaurants of Kitzbühel. The light Tyrolean atmosphere invites you to relax and enjoy traditional dishes. A cooperative and polite young staff sees to your dining needs. Depending on the amount of sunlight streaming in, the most popular seating area is often the glass-sided extension. The restaurant's cachet and cuisine have improved dramatically in recent years. The delectable menu is likely to include carpaccio, a salad of juniper-smoked trout, filet of roast saddle of hare, medallions of venison, Hungarian goulash, and chateaubriand. A popular favorite is the Tenne special steak, served with Idaho baked potatoes and sour cream. A dessert specialty is an iced soufflé flavored with Grand Marnier.
Advantages: great food, friendly staff, lovely room Disadvantages: a bit of a walk from kitzbuhel town
...in the lounge.
Staff were extremely friendly and polite and did everything to ensure we had a wonderful stay. The receptionist is also very helpful.
The only disadvantage i would say is that the hotel is a 20 minute walk from kitzbuhel town, although the hotel operates a free minibus into town every evening between 8 and 8:30pm. There is also a bus stop situated directly in front of the hotel. A bank with atm, cafe restaurant and a big sports store is located 6 minutes away and 10 minutes away are two supermarkets.
I would definetly recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to stay in Kitzbuhel though if you are after a more central location with nightlife i would suggest a hotel in Kitzbuhel town....

Advantages: Great skiing for intermediates, fantastic night life, brilliant resort Disadvantages: Some queuing for lifts, crowded buses
...I have just come back from a fabulous week's skiing in Kitzbuhel. I had visited the resort over 10 years ago and was interested to see how much I could remember and how much had changed.
Kitzbuhel is a world famous resort situated in the Tirol, Austria. It is a charming place with cobblestone streets and painted buildings. The resort itself is not very high lying at only 2,600 feet above sea level but still has a pretty good snow record, we were really lucky as all the pistes were open and snow conditions were truly excellent.
We booked the holiday with Cristal holidays, flying from Gatwick to Salzburg on a Thomsonfly charter flight. the transfer from the airport took about an hour and a half and we duly arrived at the Sonnenhof hotel, a short walk from the town centre. It was too late to collect our skis and boots on the first evening...

Advantages: one of the best ski resorts in Europe Disadvantages: none that I am aware of
...I know that many people from the UK like to come skiing to Austria, most of them are going to famous places like St. Anton, Lech, Zurs or Kitzbuhel. There are, however, other and less crowded places which you might want to consider as well.
This year, I have spent my skiing holidays at Schladming, a town in the Styria region, situated approx. 90 km from Salzburg and approx. 300 km from Vienna, Munich and Innsbruck.
Schladming has been voted by the Daily Mail to be Europe's best developed skiing resort. You will find a lot of information on the Internet. Have a look at www.schladming.com!
ACCOMMODATION
You will find all types of accommodation in Schladming and in various price ranges, from first-class hotels to private rooms and self-catering appartments. Prices vary depending on the type of accommodation and on the season. We have...

My impressions of this game when I saw it advertised on the internet was that it looked like a completely different type of game that I'm used to seeing for the DS.
