I spent a wonderful holiday in Sardinia this summer.
Now I want to tell you something about a very nice hotel not very expensive.
It is located in the Costa Smeralda in the North of Sardinia, one of the most beautiful italian corner.
Location
It is located in Baja Sardinia, only 4 kilometers far from Porto Cervo.
In the village, there are every kind of services (medical service, pharmacy, church, shops?)
The Hotel is situated 500 meters from the centre of this village.
Beaches
Near the Hotel, there is an enchanting beach called "Tre Monti". It is little but wonderful.
Hotel
The building is very nice, surrounded from flowers and plants.
In the central building thre are the receptions, restourants, tv room and bar.
The rooms are dislocated in little buildings of two floors.
Thre are a swimming pool with deck-chairs and beach ...
Advantages: Beautiful, Unspoilt, Superb Climate Disadvantages: More Expensive Than You Might Expect
, and the local bread is also excellent. Breakfast generally consists of espresso coffee and small, French style croissants, which may or may not be filled with jam, custard or chocolate.
ACCOMMADATION: Half a dozen hotels, mostly 4 or 5 star, command excellent positions on the seafront at Nora, many with their own private beaches, and hotel guests and locals alike lounge on the soft sands. Nearby, the massive five-star resort and spa at Forte Village is considered to be one of the most beautiful in Europe, attracting celebrities and Russian oligarchs alike, and priced accordingly. More modest accommodation is available in Pula, and in other small townships along the coastline.
FINALLY: I only visited a tiny corner of Sardinia, but the little I did see of this beautiful island absolutely entranced me, and I am keen to return and explore it ...

Advantages: beautiful Disadvantages: it's not a white spot on the map any more
and started turning the sheds and small houses they had on their fields for the storage of tools, manure etc. into real houses in which they, and also some tourists, could stay during the summer months. When you go to Sardinia now, you can see new houses everywhere, already or nearly finished. You can also find holiday clubs, a main building with the restaurant and small houses for the guests around. Of course, there are hotels, too, but in all Sardinia you can't find a really tall building. I guess that on the whole island there are no more beds for tourists than in, say, Torremolinos, Spain. Everything is kind of low scale and will stay like that, at least in the near future (and hopefully forever).
WHO SHOULD GO THERE?
Who would I advise to go to Sardinia? Families with small children! The beaches are so wonderful, the water is so clean ...
