Advantages: superb hotels and beaches
Disadvantages: a very long flight/ going home

...i have spend quite a bit of time in veracruz with my wife and her family and found veracruz to be very clean and tidy. the mexican people are so friendly i didnt feel that i wasnt wanted there like other countries i have visited. if i could i would go and live in veracurz we plan to go to mexico in december and i will be making a point of going back to veracruz for a week. for those people thinking about going to mexico i recomend veracruz for its really nice beaches and the friendly people. i would also like to recomend the hotel novo mar i have stayed there on two ocasions and it is a really nice hotel the staff are very helpful. my wife is from mexico from a town called puebla we meet on the internet 5 years ago. we got married feb 25 2004 in mexico. having spent a lot of time in various parts of mexico ie puebla/mexico city veracruz... Advantages: caribbean sea, sunshine, white sand, tequila, dancing, snorkelling...

...Mexico is the best country I have visited as it has it all. Firstly, it is absolutely stunning. The scenery is magnificent, ranging from barren deserts to the caribbean coast to lush forests and waterfalls. Added to this, the ruins to be found throughout the country are spectactular - I was sceptical, not being much of a keen sightseer, but they are well worth the effort! If you get sick of sightseeing, the towns and beaches provide plenty of entertainment. I loved Mexico City - it is so big and vibrant that it has something to please everyone - from beautiful old buildings and parks to lairy bars and Las Vegas-style hotels. The Yucatan peninsula is a must as it contains much of the most spectacular scenery and ruins, as well as the Caribbean coast. The beaches are so beautiful that it is worth visiting Mexico for these alone... Read review

...was a supplement for the premium class option. I travelled with Air 2000. We also had a five hour coach journey after we got there so be prepared for that as well. It will also help if you can avoid an immediate long journey at your home end by booking a room near the airport. The total door to door time for our return journey was 23 hours. ~~ Size Mexico is big. You may think a trip down the shops is a long way , but that's nothing compared to Mexico. It is really big. When you look at the map you think , it's just that bit at the bottom of the USA , but if you check the Lonely Planet guide it tells you that flights between Cancun and Mexico City take two and a half hours and a bus journey of thirty hours (Mexico City to Tijuana) is not uncommon. The roads are straight and long and centres of civilisation are very far between. We spent our first week... Read review
