Advantages: sports facilities, clean hotel, good food, friendly staff Disadvantages: quiet for teenagers at night, lack of beach
Having just returned from Hotel San Luis We would like to say what a great time we had. The hotel is kept spotlessly clean especially as we went in August when it is at it's busiest. The food although a bit repetitive is excellent and there is always something you like (even when you have fussy children)! The rooms are cleaned thoroughly daily and clean bed linen and towels changed daily too. The entertainment is very good generally and the children's animation is excellent.
We went all inclusive and this is well worth considering as drinks can be very expensive. Ice creams are free as well as unlimited drinks, crisps, nuts etc. Staff are very friendly and helpful and you can hire beach towels for a refundable deposit of 10 euros each. Sports facilities are a godsend for teenagers as is the spotless pool area.

available to the rest of Menorca. The resort itself is small and consists primarily of two fairly large hotels, a few self catering apartments, and some privately owned villas and holiday homes. The area is considered as quiet, although it does have a good selection of sports facilities.

We found this beach perfectly adequate during our stay, but in fairness it isn?t the best beach on Menorca. It is, however, quite sheltered and an ideal place for sunbathing or a quick dip in the sea. Children can become absorbed at spending time in the cove ...
Advantages: Central location Disadvantages: Small pool area
This is a nice, comfortable 4 star hotel. It is very centrally located in the resort of Cala Galdana so if you like to people watch then get a sea view room and watch the world go by. In fact only get a seaview room because the rooms at the rear of the hotel are overlooked by a steep rock strewn cliff which casts a shadow all day.
The resort is set in a beautiful cove with a wide cresent-shaped beach. The water as a consequence is very warm and calm. The cove is flanked on each side by cliffs that can be climbed quite easily to get a great view of the resort below. If you carry on in either direction a 40 minute walk will get you to the next coves along this southern coast of the island.
The resort is quite small, has plenty of restaurants for all tastes and a very low-key night life. In fact the most popular evening entertainment ...
