Advantages: excellent location on the sea front Disadvantages: small pool area
...My husband and I stayed at this hotel in July with our family group, there were 14 of us!. The hotel is ideally situated on the sea front with good sea views from the front rooms! It is a very clean hotel and the staff are very friendly and helpful. We were half board and ate in the dining room most nights, although the food was basic you could always find something to eat. The rooms were imaculate but I thought a bit small, the air con was very welcoming through the day and the night. This is a beautiful hotel situated right at the end of the main promanade in Funchal. The views across the ocean, and into the city are perfect, with the sun setting over golden cliffs to the west in the evening towards the harbour. The hotel is situated more
