St. Elmo's Fire - Original Soundtrack

Advantages: Excellent Movie Sountrack.
Disadvantages: None!

REASONS FOR PURCHASING: St Elmo?s' Fire is one of my all time favourite movies that I really had great pleasure in watching in 1986. I really was thrilled when I first saw this excellent, star studded movie and was highly impressed with the soundtrack and all of the great songs that where played throughout it. I purchased this soundtrack a few years later after watching St Elmo's Fire, as I really thought all the songs chosen for the movie really helped it to be the big success it was. The Theme tune to St Elmo?s Fire was an excellent choice by producer David Foster. It is called "Man In Motion" and was performed by John Parr. The theme tune to St Elmo's Fire is played in little stages, instrumentally in this movie and it gradually builds up to an excellent song that?s performed by "The Great" John Parr near the end of the final ...

ST ELMO'S FIRE - A COMING OF AGE MOVIE

Advantages: great film, 80's clothing and music
Disadvantages: none at all

St Elmo's Fire hit the big screen in 1985 and was directed by Joel Schumacher , whose other films include The Lost Boys, Flatliners, Phone Booth and a couple of Batman films. St Elmo's Fire is a real "coming of age" film. A gang of friends have all just left college, Georgetown, USA and this film shows them living life in the real world and growing up. Some deal with it better than others. It is a typical "brat pack" film of the 80's starring the young stars of the day, Demi Moore, Andrew McCarthy, Rob Lowe. St Elmo's Fire is one of my favourite films. It has several stories all intermingling as the gang get on with life after school. CAST & CHARACTERS ++++++++++++++++++ Alec Newbary (Judd Nelson) is living with Leslie Hunger (Ally Sheedy) Alec has great political aspirations and wants Leslie to be a model wife while he ...

Norbreck Castle Hotel - Blackpool

Advantages: Late bar and all you can eat food
Disadvantages: Too far to the town

My friends and I decided to have a weekend away because it was one of their birthdays. We booked for a two-night weekend break at the Norbreck Castle Hotel in Blackpool through National Coach Holidays on 19 November 2004. The brochure described the break as being ?All inclusive? and we looked forward to fact that we would be able to drink copious amounts of alcohol for free (and why not!). We paid £89.00 for two night?s dinner, bed and breakfast with drinks also included from 7.30pm ? 10.30pm in one of the three bars in the hotel. When we arrived at 1.30pm we were met in the lobby with a poster telling us that we were unable to check in until 3.30pm, this was our first mishap. The décor in the lobby was okay and the hotel on the surface seemed rather nice. We made our way to the bar (as you do), to kill a couple of hours ...
