Advantages: It keeps you entertained the whole way through
Disadvantages: it is boring

...I would definitely not reccomend going to Bordeuax if you are thinking of going somewhere this year. If you like shopping, lots of people, excitment. Do not come to Bordeaux. However if you like cheesy discos, swimming in yellow lakes, going to toilets that are holes in the floor, very quiet, very desolate, very boring places then you would absolutely love it in Bordeax. There are way too many vinyards there for my liking. There are so many wine shops, well, that's certainly no surprise. If you find a town to go to you will probably find a restaurant, a pharmacie , a disco and a few wine shops! If you go stay in a nice hotel and make sure there are proper toilets there!... Advantages: Great Wine and scenery
Disadvantages: Vineyards are empty during winter

...Bordeaux is in the south west of France where it is famous for its vine yards where beautiful wine is produced. It has many vineyards, of which the most popular and famous are the Medoc and St Emilion vineyards. I went to the Tourist Information centre and was recommended the tour to St Emilion (60km from Bordeaux centre). It's a pity that I went in January when the grapes are not in sight. However, I was told how red wine is produced, but not really being shown how. Bordeaux is a city with several towns and full of vibrant young people. It also has a sand dune (Dune de Pyla) in Acachon town, which is the highest in Europe, standing at 99m high. It was amazing high with both sea and forest area in sight. Well, if you enjoy scenery and wine, Bordeaux is definitely worth a visit.... Read review
