I have just got back from Tenerife and staying at the Hotel Noelia Sur. My family go to Tenerife every year and this is the second time we have stayed at the Noelia. It has always been known as a quality hotel, but like many hotels it has its blips.
Our flight was with Monarch airlines and to be honest it did leave certain things to be desired. I was told to expect to pay £10.00 for the inflight meals, which basicaly are crap, but Monarch tried to hit us with a £15.00 bill for them.As there were 7 in my party, this would have been an extra £105.00. I honestly do not think there is a need for such a price, as this would bring in more than £5000 revenue for the company, just for the inflight meals. They already charge a price of £3.00 for a 330 ml can of beer that costs 60p in an off license. On top of this there is a hire charge of £1 ...

Hotel Suave Mar is located in Esposende in North Portugal. It is about half hour on the coach from the airport at Oporto. This is a great distance for the kids' tolerance. This is on top a much shorter flight from the UK compared to other sunny destinations.
It is a smallish hotel, which gave it a comfortable and cosy atmosphere.
The hotel is set a little walk away from the centre of Esposende where there is a pleasant enough market square. However the town is a small, ordinary place and there is not really much to see of interest. It would be a good base to explore the area of the Costa Verde and Oporto, but being with young children that was not for us. It is also set fairly close to the beach, although you do need to cross a fairly major, though not busy, road and walk ...

When we first arrived i was amazed how lovely it looked from the outside, all glass front. It Was the nicest looking hotel out of all of the ones we had dropped people off from the coach. I was actually thinking oh my god i hope ours is nicer than theirs, but i knew it was as we'd payed a bit extra to get quality.
This hotel is a 4/5* and we went half board. We got breakfast in the morning, which was buffet style. There were a wide selection of cereal, bread, cooked breakfast. All really good. Then we had an evening meal, which was also buffet style. This changed everyday. You got steaks, fish, chicken, salad, pasta, and lots of other things. Lots of choiced of dessert also.
