Hotel Tourist, Cefalu

Hotel Tourist looked very promising when we first arrived after a long drive from Palermo. The bar area is very pleasant, and the staff friendly and welcoming. Our room was good - fairly basic but clean and sufficient for our needs. However, the quality of the food was not so good - and unfortunately didn't improve during our stay. We had booked half board - and quickly realised we should have gone for B&B, as there are some fabulous restaurants within walking distance.
