Having read some of the reviews we went on holiday there in July 08 and were pleasantly supprised. Yes, the rooms were basic and dated but they were clean and the beds comfortable. The hotel complex was clear of litter and the gardens well kept as they employ an army of local Cuban people to ensure everything is as it should be. They even controlled the mosquitos effectively. The choice of food was wide and even the most fussy of us would find plenty that they would like. Bear in mind that Cuba is a poor country, they are some of the nicest people who you will ever meet and they work hard to make your stay a pleasant one. Enjoy it!

Hi welcome to ciao. If you add more detail about the hotel such as what your room was like, how it was decorated and furnished and the general look of the hotel it will get you better ratings. Have a read (and rate) of reviews with a very helpful rating and it will help you to see what sort of detail is needed to make your review more useful to potential customers. Hope this helps x
