Nice hotel in Lido venice

A well situated hotel in lido Venice, 5 minutes from the Boat station and 15 minutes to St.Mark´s Venice. Very close to the Beach and the Palazzo del Cinema, where the Film festival take place. The staff is very welcoming and pleasant, breakfast quite good, specially in summer in the private Garden. In summer days was quite amazing just take a bike given from the hotel and ride all the island long take a long drink on the way and coming back long the Venice lagoon in the light of the sunset, just heaven! In the evening there are many restaurants close to the hotel, all reacheble by feet, where we found good fish food in venetial style. Hotel Villa Patrizi, Rome

Advantages: Good location, good value for money, polite staff
Disadvantages: Small rooms

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Why we chose the hotel ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ My boyfriend and I decided to take a weekend city break in Rome, we were joined by his parents who travelled seperately. We looked on Expedia for a good deal and we found one with reasonable BA flights and 3 nights stay at Hotel Villa Patrizi. We looked at the information and pictures of the hotel on the internet and it looked good so we decided to book it. Villa country House Hotel

Advantages: Friendly staff, clean
Disadvantages: Pricey, can have a few problems

My partner, daughter and I stayed at this hotel a couple of times when we go and visit the family up there. From the outside the hotel looked beautiful and clean and looked really big, as soon as i stepped in the doors i was weary but the staff are all nice and always had a smile on their faces. The hotel could do with a bit of a lift inside, the rooms wasn't as big as expected from the outside but was well furnished with all your little pieces ( trouser press, tea/coffee etc) The restaurant was nice with all your traditional food, the waiters and waitresses all know what they are doing and don't mess around, there was one complaint on the next table about a steak wasn't cooked right and the waiter offered to change it straight away, The waiter then came back out and said the steak was all from the same bit lot and it will ...
