Advantages: Londoners perspective: beautiful, clean, orderly and different Disadvantages: Londoners perspective: Expensive (yes even for me!)and a little small and quiet
...cheaper is cigarettes and because Switzerland’s not part of the EU you can still buy duty free (hurrah!).
Accomodation
I have been lucky in that every time I visit Geneva my friend has accomodated me for free! But I am assured by the tourist guides that there is a good range of low to medium cost accomodation as well as the awe-inspringly expensive hotels catering to diplomats and the seriously loaded. There is a hotel reservation service on 022 909 70 20.
Sightseeing
In terms of sightseeing Geneva hasn’t got as much to offer as say Paris or Rome. But there are several attractions. The Cathedrale St-Pierre dominates the Old Town and it is well worth paying a couple of francs to climb to the top. The spiral stairs are quite strenuous but on a clear day you get a stunning view of the city and lake. The cathedral is closed for an hour...

Advantages: Lots to do, nice atmosphere Disadvantages: Hotels are rather expensive
...My husband & I visited Geneva last month & loved it. It's just such a big city with so much to do. We went to the Reformation museum & Red Cross museum, but there are also art museums, a watch museum and others. Cathedral is worth a visit- we went to a concert in it which was a great experience. Also visited some sights to do with Jean Calvin the Christian reformer - such as the Reformation Wall. Went on a cruise on Lake Geneva which was lovely. Make sure you take a swimming cossie too cos at "Geneve Plage" there are outdoor pools and a section of the lake that you can swim in if you want. The tram is a good way to get around the city. A little further out are the alps which you can visit by coach.
Hotels & restaurants can tend to be a bit pricey, but we stayed in "Hotel Central" which is reasonably priced and a nice hotel.

Advantages: Good Location Disadvantages: Outdated Decor
...With a brand name like Hilton, you expect every hotel under their chain in all corners of the world have exactly the same standard? Wrong!
In a city like Geneva where UN, Red Cross and practically every single presitigous brand of luxury watches you can name have an office, every five star hotel must be stunning and glitzy? Wrong.
Noga Hilton enjoys a good location right opposite to Jet d'eau. Right in front of the lake, very handy for cruises around Lake Geneva.
There are 3 different restaurants plus the lobby bar and a Chinese restaurant inside. But the decor is pretty much outdated. Sort of sixties and seventies design. The front desk service are pretty much standard.
During my first night I was allocated to a room with a balcony. The good thing is I can see Jet d'eau from my balcony. The bad thing is my room is very green with a lot...

My impressions of this game when I saw it advertised on the internet was that it looked like a completely different type of game that I'm used to seeing for the DS.
