Advantages: Fantastic rooms, friendly staff, great location Disadvantages: some of the other guests seem to think their a bit special!
be booked over the hotel groups website, by calling a central reservations number, by calling the hotel directly and most likely through your locale travel agents alothough i wouldn't recommend this as it will work out much more expensive that contacting the hotel directly.
I would definatly recommend a visit to this hotel especially for a special occassion, the staff are always friendly, helpful and willing to go the extra mile, for example several times they've made food for me not on the menu just because i enquired as to whether they did do it or not. Also if you have an american express card you can often get deals on buy one get one night free in de vere hotels, and sometimes a free upgrade (the reason i got junior suites both time!) ...
Advantages: Well presented, friendly, welcoming, modern Disadvantages: On a back street
We visted the Hotel Armadams for our honeymoon back in October 2006 for a short break to take in the sights and sounds of Palma.
It is situated one "block" away from the main promenade in Palma, a road lined on one side with bars, hotels, shops and the marina and harbour area on the other.
I am not a great Spanish speaker, infact I know only the most basic of phrases to muddle through, but the staff were very understanding and very helpful, even though we weren't checking in until really late following a delayed flight.
The room was exceptional. Clean crisp tiled floors beautufully airy which really made a good first impression.
We had a view looking out at the flats opposite, but a sneaky view between the buildings to the goregous marina opposite.
Features of the room were also impressive, with a mini bar, television ...
Advantages: Good place for children, friendly, watch out for the hot summer months, Disadvantages: Hotels get full fast so book ahead
, the Rue Antibes is a great area to visit and the Meynadier for shopping there are antique fairs to also look out for, along with the bigger chains Gucci, Lacroix & Farrari its all there for you to enjoy and discover,
The Palais des Fesivals et des congres is worth poking you head into which when on Film festival nights and award nights is full of glitz and sparkles as the red carpet is rolled out,
The convention centre which holds most of the events in Cannes is worth taking your photo pictures of as there is flagstones outside the building from visiting celebrities,
Musee de la Castre for all you art lovers there is a diverse mixture of art, also you can go to the castle tower and look at the beautiful views of Cannes,
Truthfully there is no end to what you can ...
