...Lille is situated in the north of France, and this is where I live, not really, but I live around Lille. This is a amazing town, but I wish there was more english each summer ;o).
Fist, it's really easy to come to Lille thanks to the ferries (that I took so many times!) and we have plenty of hotels there! I don't know if they are expensive or not because I don't need them!
Those years, the town has being changed, I mean it's getting more and more beautiful, with each saturday a concert or something like that on the major square [we call it Grand' place].
This town is so great! we are next to Paris, Beligium, Netherlands, Germany, and you guys: GB! it's not raining all the time as people can think or say!
Here are the pubs I prefer:

...I thought this was the best hotel I've ever stayed in Cuba. We stayed here in June 2007 and had the best holiday ever. Havana is steeped in history and the local people couldn't be more friendly.
The hotel is one of the best on the island and I would highly recommend anyone to stay at this hotel. it has a central location and has very high standards in terms of cleanliness and helpfulness of staff. We were offered a free room upgrade when we told them we were there on our honeymoon. Each room is full of character and make sure you take the hotel tour if you decide to stay here. The gardens are also full of surprises! Make sure you check out the bunkers.......

Advantages: Excellent location, remarkable value for money Disadvantages: May have to book in advance to get a good deal
...I stayed one night at the Best Western Premier Carrefour DeL'Europe in October 2005. I got a really good price of 80 euros a room for 2 people including breakfast - particularly cheap when you consider it is Brussels.
The hotel is ideally situated on the Grand Place - my room overlooked this - which is the main square in Brussels. It is also just around the corner from Central Station which has frequent links to the airport.
The room was huge - a large bathroom, bedroom and seating area. The breakfast buffet was very good - eggs, cheese, bread, cold meat etc and plenty of fruit juice and coffee/tea.
Even better, the hotel receptionist decided not to charge us for our mini bar!
I would definitely stay there next time I visit Brussels....

A Beautiful hotel in a perfect location; central and just minutes away from the main sqaure. The hotel overlooks a very pretty canal and we had de-luxe rooms with canal views. Sumptuous rooms, plenty of space and every possible extra. Delicious... more
If you're the same age as me then when someone says the words "De Barge" to you, you can't help but be thrown back to the mid-80s and that awful cheesy pop song "Rhythm Of The Night". Fortunately the De Barge I'm reviewing here is far from cheesy and... more
