Just back from my holiday in Alcudia. We stayed in the Bellevue Apartments.
I have to say, it was a huge disappointment. When i booked this holiday i requested a ground floor apartment. When i arrive i was giving the mirnerva 2 on the 7th floor so apart from one floor we were at the top.
Inside my room i did recieve the cot i had requested however - under the kitchen sink was leaking which made the whole room smell. I did report it but nothing was done about it. The floor was filthy. I had to constantly brush it myself as the maid who is supposed to come in everyday only came in twice in the fortnight i was there. I reported this too, not to be a pest but because the rooms werent getting cleaned the bins wernt getting emptied and i had nappies in mine which really should had to be emptied every day.
However apart from these things i had no other problem with room.
The facilities on the complex were good. There was lots of pools (which got busy very quickly), a small amount of rides that the children could go on, go karts, crazy golf, shops, resurants, pizzarias, barbecues, a show garden, laundry room and this was all on the complex.
Outside the complex the was many many more resturants, shops, a pharmacy and the beach is only a 5-10min walk from the apartments and its very easy to get to - just follow the row of shops and its at the end.
There was people around selling fake designer sunglasses at a good price (haggle and you can get them down to about 4euros), hairbrading, horse and cart rides and at night time there is also people doing charactures and portraits. Theres is a crepe stand as well where a man makes them up infront of you and he is amazing to watch.
You can book excursions from your holiday rep but id suggest having a look around first because just outside the complex there is shop called colber supermarket and you can buy tickets for the same excursions and some are actually cheaper than the rep was selling.
at night on the complex there was a different act playing in the show garden. Shows like abba, beatles, westlife, take that, rod stewart, elvis etc. I never went to see any of these though as they didnt start till 10pm every night and when i went down,after sitting for about 30min i had to leave because there was sooo many mosquitoes. I was bitten over 15 times.
Overall I did enjoy my holiday it was very family orintated however i wont be going back due to my disappointment with the room.
My advice if you are going is take plenty of mosquito replant and look about before you buy anything. for example i bot smirnoff vodka for 8.95 euros and in the very next shop it was 12.95 euros.
