i went here a few years ago with my parents, brother and sister. the first thing i remember is that the canals in alcudia smell really bad at night! no reflection on the apartments, thats just alcudia!
the actual apartments were basic self catering, clean and nice maids. there are a quite a few pools and you can use any you like, so obviously the kids love that. not too far to walk to the beach, and you can also hire bikes and take them outside the complex. the staff were really friendly and helpful, and the lifts and that were clean and always working - very unusual!
alcuai itself is good for families, as its not too quiet but not like magaluf either! iwouldnt want to go now with my mates, but if i had kids i would take them there.
