My partner and I went to Houda Golf Aug 08. Must admit was pleasantly surprised! The hotel is surprising clean and there is staff cleaning all day and all night. Rooms simple and clean. Cleaned daily and clean towels daily if needed.
All the staff were so friendly and nice despite the language barrier. They work so hard, the guys and girls you see first thing in the morning are the same guys and girls that you see last thing at night! They work such long hours but always have a smile for you....!
The food was average, but the fact that you could eat from 6am - 1am was a bonus. There was always something to eat that suited you. The snack bar was fantastic and convenient.
Lovely pool area although you have to battle for a bed! (no different to so many other hotels!) Three good clean pools. The beach is moments away and the water is as warm as bath water. Water slides were so much fun regardless of our age!
Evening entertainment is divided into different areas of the grounds so you can either participate or chill out at the bar. Fast service at the bar and measures were generous! Its the only all inc hotel I have been to where water is included in the price, 1L bottles of chilled water available all day long. Fantastic.
Lots for kids to do, they always looked happy. The entertainment staff certainly do what they are meant to... entertain. Really friendly hard working people who ensure that you have fun whilst you are there.
Shame that once you leave the hotel grounds it is not as pleasant, saying that, you have everything you need at the hotel and you do not need to leave. Sousse medina market was an eye opener and I only lasted a few minutes with the every persistent stall owners. A little uncomfortable but you know that they will not harm you. They are just trying to make a living. There is an excellent fixed price supermarket just outside the Medina. Its hassle free and really cold from the air con! Prices are good. The leather goods are amazing, especially handbags.
The weather was amazing, constant cloud free blue skies and temperatures in the 40s. Perfect for sun worshippers.
Overall brilliant holiday. Excellent value you for money.

I think your review lacks info about the surroundings, accessibility, facilities available, how can you book and how realiable/fast that is, how can you pay and most importantly, prices.
