...Cordoba is a city I felt I knew even before I'd been; that's probably because it is home to some well-known historical sites and is a city that has made a big contribution to Spanish culture, most notably through the art of flamenco dancing and music. It is a city with a reputation of hot days and hot nights and there is nowhere that better encapsulates the many cultures that have contributes to the melting pot that is Andalusia.
When thinking about cross cultural relations today, particularly in Europe, one should perhaps point out that Jews, Muslims and Christians lived in (relative) harmony for several centuries in Cordoba; the city in general and some of its major sights in particular illustrate the impressions successive and co-existing cultures have had on Cordoba.

Advantages: Location and staff Disadvantages: Dirty, smelly, disgusting, revolting
...This is actually a review about the HowardJohnson Hotel in Kingston, Ontario, but I can't seem to find how to request a new product review.
There aren't enough words to describe how dreadful this hotel is, but I'll try - dirty, grubby, smelly, rusty, unpleasant, filthy, disgusting.
When we arrived in Kingston, which is a lovely place to visit and stay because there's so much to see and do and people are so friendly, there was unfortunately some kind of University graduation weekend and so the only rooms available at any downtown hotels were in the HowardJohnson (HOJO).
We were initially told that there were fully booked, but if we wanted a smoking room then they could find us something. Both me and my husband both smoke, so we didn't really mind. The first room we had was on the 1st floor, which is really the basement because it...
