There are some restaurants (including Restaurant Bahila, please refer to photos below), cafes, subway around the hotel. This was very convenience. There was a supermarket about 8 minutes walk from the hotel. There?s also a floating market (with fresh fishes, vegetables) just 10 minutes walk through the floating footbridge.
The room is equipped with cable/satellite TV, bathroom, in-room safe, hair dryer, iron/ironing board, wake-up calls, fridge (on request), voice mail, and coffee/tea kettle, air-conditioned. But there weren?t any fridge; we forgot to ask for it when we booked online. We did ask the staff to bring us one, but they didn?t have enough. But the good thing was there was an ice dispenser machine around the corner ...

The Victoria Park Plaza is excellent for business trips or short luxury breaks. The only thing I will say is that the walls were paper thin and you can hear what is going on in the next room. The man in the next room was a business man and he stayed up on his phone talking till about 3.0 clock which was really annoying because we couldn't sleep. Then when we woke up in the morning the man had the cheek to shout at us for talking. Unfortunately this is the case with most hotels like this in London. Hopefully you won't get a bed next to a busy businessman's room.
