Well, Hua Hin is not much far from Bangkok, only 3 hours southwest of Bangkok. I have known that here is claimed as the Thailand's oldest beach resort. This beach is located in the western side of Thai Gulf,in Prachuap Khiri Khan province, here is very peaceful and essentially relaxing. I don't like Pattaya, where is very crowded....as well as the water sport is provided overthere.
I can give you some example places to visit if you can visit there...Khao Tao, Khao-Sam-Roi-Yot where is a National Park-there is a famous cape to see but i forgot the name...well, there's not bad to spend one of your weekend,i think.....
