Matraszentimre is the place to be!

Advantages: located on top of the village in the forest, great fresh air and confortable rooms!
Disadvantages: staff speaks not very good english

...quite, country side relaxation. Silver Apartman is probably the second biggest after the MOL owned hotel and it is located on the tip of the village, at the edge of the forest. Rooms are very nice, clean and gives you a very good atmosphere of living in a village on the mountain feels like. Furthermore food is very goood and breakfast is very satisfying. Television wise as I am hungarian i am less concerned about international channels however there ...
...a great place for family as it has its own little play ground and it is in the forest giving the feeling of being in the nature. I would recommend to visit this place on the 20 August on Hungary's national place as the village is filed with traditional vibe and festivals. Living in such a confortable and well equiped room lets you enjoy your holiday to the maximum! I can only recommend it ...

There is a much better one Egerszalok

Advantages: In town centre, close to accomodation
Disadvantages: much smaller and less "exciting" as the newly built spa outside the town

This thermal park is the old one located in town. It is still very nice and quite. I would recommend it for old couples especially those that would like to stay in the hotel above. Price wise its very affordable, how the pools are very limited! And to be honest it is no where as good as the one 2 km outside the city. Which is newly built. It has fun water park and a massive thermal section. They also got saunas, infrared cabins, oil therapies ect. ...
...swimming park, with two pools. Location wise it is better tho because its in the village and there is accomodation closer, as at the other place (newer one) the hotel is not yet finished. I would recommened you to visit this village, wherther you go for the traditional spa or the new modern one its up to you. It will be a great experience anyway! ...
