Advantages: It, um, has a pool Disadvantages: Breakfast gets boring after a while
...We went to Madrid for a mothers' day treat which meant the mother in the party got to dictate the hotel we stayed at. She wanted somewhere with a pool. Madrid, it turns out, doesn't have that many hotels with indoor pools, and being March, we didn't want to splash around outside. So, I booked the two of us into the Husa Moncloa for 4 nights, which had, in addition to a pool, a good looking location and 4 shiny stars to boot.
We arrived by plane and took the Metro to the hotel. This took about 45 minutes, involved one change of line, and cost €1 each. Bargain. For those who prefer to travel in style, a taxi would cost you about €25. Though there's also an airport-city shuttle bus, this stops miles from the hotel, so isn't that convenient. For getting around, the hotel is well situated a mere 50m from a metro stop (Arguelles) served...

Advantages: Hard to find one Disadvantages: I would say that almost all of them
...all over the floor and the walls, and it was so dirty that I had to raise a formal complain to the hotel, what lead to nothing, as they did not offered me to change my room………
I can't understand why the charge so much for each room since as I see it this is an utter rip off!!!!!!!!!!!!
Next time I will visit Madrid, I will look for a newer hotel with much more facilities, such a good room service, bigger rooms and spotlessly clean hotel with maybe a swimming pool and a gym. I know that this is not something essential but in my humble opinion, as I keen traveler that I consider myself, I am sure that much more maybe offered considering the prices that they charge.
Appart from that, the hotel is not in a good and safe area……I got stolen once during a stroll along the area………and I realized, the area around the hotel is full of houses...

...Hotel Sol Princesa Dacil ***
Los Cristianos Tenerife
Just returned from a week’s stay at the hotel and can happily say that this was an excellent holiday, I flew over with my friend from Manchester with Thomas Cook, a flight which took about 4 hrs 20 mins and then only a short transfer from the airport to the hotel of about 20 minutes. I could not fault the holiday and although this is only a 3 star hotel in my opinion it should be upgraded, I have stayed in 3,4,5 star hotels and this more than met my standards.
As I said it was only a short transfer and we arrived at the hotel about 15:30 and were immediately checked-in, the receptionist informed me we had been upgraded to a superior room free of charge. The Superior rooms are by far the best and are worth paying for; they are situated on the top three floors of the hotel...
