Advantages: Great location, comfortable rooms Disadvantages: Not many facilities
The director of the hotel himself describes the Husa Meson Castilla as 'a simple two star hotel, but for those who are watching their budget, it is not only moderately priced, but also well located and offers an old-world ambience'. I would agree whole heartedly with this statement, but don't be put off by the lack of more stars. As you may know, stars are awarded for facilities in a hotel and not the standard of the rooms, etc. Whilst this hotel doesn't have masses of facilities, it does offer better-than-average comfort at very affordable prices.

The location is perfect. Just down a well-lit and fairly buzzing side street off the Ramblas, it's a mere five minute walk to the centre of the action. The nearest underground train station is at the top of the Ramblas (probably an extra two minutes walk) and is called ...
Advantages: History, good food and attractions Disadvantages: Maybe not geared up for tourism
's put into a Paellera (a flat pan) and cooked over a charcoal fire - so it figures you can buy variations of the pans as souvenirs, all over Valencia.
TURIA PARK

As you walk down you go under some rather impressive bridges: I particularly remember the Puente de Serranos with its 15th century towers which were part of the old town-walls, it now stands proud amid more modern buildings around.
There are playing fields ...

Advantages: fun for all ages, great shopping, weather, food, nightlife. Disadvantages: In the summer months, make sure your hotel has a pool or you might find the heat a little too much
great for photos and los Torres de Serrano are worthy of a visit too. Be sure to make time for a wander in the maze of narrow streets that form 'el Carmen' just off from the Cathedral - these are home to some of the most beautiful examples of graffiti art in the city, and lots of quirky little bookshops and tiny bars.
Valencia also has plenty of galleries and museums on offer, I particularly recommend the Museo de Bellas Artes and the IVAM. (the IVAM is free on a Sunday).
The modern space age structure of the City of Arts and Sciences is definitely an unmissable sight - it is home to a science museum, the Hemisferic planetarium, and aquarium, as well as a nightclub 'Umbracle' in the summer. The aquarium is particularly good for children as it has a great selection and offers an enjoyable dolphin show in which children from ...
