I've heard (and our staff has written) that these guys rock a lot live, which is freaking awesome. What I do know is that I have been waiting for this quite possibly all summer; the first CD by a band who knows how to do vocal melodies and quick, simple but yet so sophisticated lyrics. The "singles" (first three tracks) were simply amazing. "Stop" drives the CD into such great and solid energy that you can't help but tap your foot along with the smart vocals that follow the guitar line. The songs on this disc are similar, but with a twist.
The energy almost seems to die immediately after the first two tracks with "Fireworks," with a slower tempo but more of the great vocals that make up the disc. Perhaps that's what really makes PlainWhite T's such a great listen; the excellent and smartly blended vocals. It's nothing super new, but ...

As some of you may already know, I have recently returned from a lovely break in Houston, Texas. The main reason for our trip was to go to "Wrestlemania", the WWE's large yearly event. Yes it is slightly sad to travel 5000 miles for wrestling, but you only live once and I am indeed sad! To ensure the expense and hassle would be worth it, we added an additional 7 night's holiday to the trip, making it a 10 night get away.
We booked our wrestling part of the trip direct with WWE and thought the packages sounded like the best deal for our money. Included was 3 nights in the Hyatt Regency Hotel in downtown Houston as well as a lot of other boring wrestling things I won't bore you with! ;)
My initial reaction when we were told and confirmed on the package, of where we would be staying for the last 3 nights of our trip, I was ecstatic ...
Advantages: That presidential suite looks nice, good views over the city Disadvantages: Service isn't fantastic, above budget for the average traveller

When the celebrities are performing in the city, they tend to stay here – I know that both Kylie and Madonna have occupied suites in the hotel (albeit on the VIP floor) so the Hyatt is therefore definitely aiming for the luxury end of the market.
If you are arriving by car, the hotel is relatively easy to find. Birmingham City centre is easily accessible from a number of motorways, although I would recommend inspecting the route on a street map, as the one-way system can be a bit awkward. The main entrance to the hotel is just off Broad Street, on a side street, which also houses the central Travel Inn Metro.
