Great apartments in Puerto Del Carmen

Advantages: Clean, friendly apartments
Disadvantages: Steep hills

We stayed in these apartments in late Septemder and thiught they were great. They are in the centre of Puerto del Carmen and are rally close to the beach just 200 metres and the main strip of bars, pubs and restaurants. There are supermarkets located at each end of the street. Use the hill beside the spar as it is not as steep as the one on the left which they call cadiac hill. The apartments we stayed in were opposite reception they are 1 and 2 storied in three different locations - oppsite reception and pool and to either side of the pool. The apartments are spacious and have large a living/kitchen area, bathroom and bedroom. There is a tv in the room with some English Channels however you can pay at reception to get more channels like movies. We found them extremely clean and the maid cleaned every day. HYDE PARKS OWN WINTER WONDERLAND

Advantages: Pretty Lights, right on top of the tune station, the aroma of wine!
Disadvantages: Expensive, crowded, too dark, too far.

Hyde Park - Winter Wonderland 2007 At Christmas 2007, we decided to take the family to Hyde Park for the Winter Wonderland Experience. It had been very well advertised and the flyer portrayed an image similar to what you might expect in Austria or Germany during the festive season. The website looked impressive too, so how could we not go and enjoy the festive delights of London. Hyde Park is One of London's finest landscapes, covering 350 acres of park land. In the summer months, there is something for everyone with over 4,000 trees, a lake, Princess Diana Memorial Fountain, a meadow, horse rides, abundance of street entertainers and the obligatory ice cream van; it is easy to forget you're in the middle of London. London Hilton on Park Lane

Advantages: Excellent location, high level of expecation in terms of standard and service
Disadvantages: Can be expensive, even for a cocktail !

A hotel with one of the most prime locations in London, the 5-star London Hilton on Park Lane, boasts one of the more salubrious addresses and settings of the Hilton group's London portfolio, slightly set back from the busy traffic of Park Lane, overlooking Hyde Park. The hotel is modern, but with a certain degree of grandeur, with a spacious lobby, behind which lies the sweeping staircases up the Grand Ballroom and Wellington Ballroom. The latter boats fantastic views across Park Lane over to Hyde Park, particularly impressive in the eraly evening and an ideal setting for cocktail recpetions before dinner in the Grand Ballroom - for functions in the 700 - 1,000 region.
