Arriving in Hyderabad towards the start of the city’s business day, we were thrust directly into the maelstrom of an Indian rush hour. The cars the hotel had sent to meet my two companions and myself were tiny and apparently had no air-conditioning. They were also driven by people who seemed firmly of the belief that dying on the road would be a fine way to go, and, (to my untutored eye) they did everything in their power to make it ... ...were struck by how clean Hyderabad seemed compared to Delhi, and how well-mannered the traffic was. As I was alternating between hiding under the seat and trying to get out, I somehow failed to be impressed by these insights. Every manoeuvre our driver made took us within millimetres of gathering an ornamental cyclist for our bonnet, or ourselves becoming the hood ornament for some other, larger vehicle. The traffic seemed totally anarchic to me, ...

Advantages: exudes a rich heritage culture, yet is modern! (aka Hi-tech city -due to software programmers) best IT recruitment, food, pleasant evenings outdoors, shopping, people! Disadvantages: getting there..? maybe dusty for some, not the usual touristy place..?
Hyderabad Deccan is found in the state of Andhra Pradesh in India, it is a city that still exudes charm, which is reminiscent of a bygone era with its rich heritage and culture. A key to understanding “Hyderabadi” culture and heritage lies in its rich history, which I will explain first.

...Pakistan. However, the city of Hyderabad is now a part of India. Hyderabad Dhakan is well known for its accent, the Char Minar and its food. Hyderabadi cuisine is loved throughout the Asian subcontinent. Advantages: The Only Club in Hyderabad, relaxed atmosphere, rural setting with no-congestion on route, and no mosquitos! Disadvantages: a bit far out of the city to get to, no buses, taxi's at night
...Stuck where to party this weekend? Fed up with long queues at large commercial city Clubs, (and the extortionate London Club prices!) or maybe you fancy a change from dancing in small back street Clubs, well here’s a Club with a difference…it’s in the middle of nowhere, set in rural surroundings just outside of an army controlled area…near the city of Hyderabad in India. Ok, I realise this is a long way to go Clubbing just for the weekend but you wont be disappointed by the rural charm, location, atmosphere and wonderful hospitality of the local Hyderabadi’s. If you do manage a visit to the southern city of Hyderabad in India this is one Club, well the ‘only’ Club worth checking out!
Treasure Island, commonly known as ‘TI’ by the locals is Hyderabad’s first proper Club. It is situated in Gandipet, which is about 16Km drive out...
