Advantages: Execellent position next to bus station and close to shops, just far enough away from night life to be quiet. Disadvantages: The food is excellent so you may over eat ! Not very close to beach.
I visited this hotel a couple of years ago as the second week of a cruise and stay with TUI.
This is a modern hotel with a lift we had a very pleasant room and balcony over looking the front and street but not too noisey. We were half board and we really could not fault the food in anyway, lots of choice hot/cold self service buffet style with daily specials. as much as you could eat. Even though it seemed busy the tables were cleared quickly and meal time was a pleasure.
We went in March and there were not many children there but the ones that were did'nt seem to be at our end of the Hotel.

Advantages: Excellent Half Board Service... The Food and Hospitality is amazing. Disadvantages: Caters mainly for German and Spanish guests.
This is an excellent 4 star hotel offering a very comfortable half board service. Although I stated as a disadvantage that it caters for mainly German and Spanish guests, I had no trouble with this at all. All the staff speak a modicum amount of English and all are very willing to help you in any way.
This was our first holiday with our son who was 11 months at the time and we were concerned how we might fare. The staff of the hotel couldn't have been more helpful to us and assisted us at mealtimes and by the pool.

Maspalomas is defiantly a quiet family retreat, however its great to just get away from it all. More things to do will be explained later in the review.

As I mentioned earlier within in review, we stayed at the HotelMaspalomas/tabaiba Princess 4*, which was absolutely spectacular from the outset. When we arrived we were greeted by the hotels lobby area alone, which is absolutely amazing, full marble flooring with glass exterior, I mean it was beautiful, and for the price it felt even better. Having been greeted by the excellent first appearance of the lobby we walked over towards the reception desk located in the centre of the giant lobby and we were greeted again by a lovely woman who was smiling and courteous at al times.
